Reality of a Rejuvenation Retreat
Updated: Aug 8, 2019
Glamourous, luxurious, stylish, perfect. That is not always the reality of a Rejuvenation Retreat. Ugly crying, heartaches, mental exhaustion, physical pain and doom is quite often what we are facing and feeling when we finally realize we need something for ourselves. Whether you are a tired wife, an overworked employee, a thankless mother, broken from divorce, illness or loss, we all need to take time to take care of ourselves.
We need to remember that it's okay to take some time to re-connect with our true selves (and not the hollow shell we exist in) and tune into our inner reflection while learning about our self worth.
Find the time to go on a retreat that works for you. Picking the latest trend or fad and ending up at an "Angry Yoga" or "Breatharian" retreat (not that I am judging) might not be what you are looking for. Find something that connects to you. Find something you can hold onto and perhaps even practice on your own.
If you are looking for a way to self journey to wellness and discover who you are, and enjoy meditation, food, journaling, massage, hot springs and want an excuse to get out of town with a good friend, check out AkaNaksha's Rejuvenation Retreat in Radium Hot Springs in Alberta. You will be pleasantly surprised with its simplicity yet effective opportunities to find yourself.
